1. Sign In to play.

  2. Play as matches start.

  3. Stop playing.

  4. Take a break.

  5. Leave early (Sign Out).

  6. Pair players together.

Details of FAQ for Club Run:

  1. Sign In to play.

    Steps:

       •  Navigate close to the user name in Club User window by typing the initials of the user name. For example, to search for Michael Jordan, typing "MJ" or "M".

      •  Sign In to play by any of following three methods:

        •  Double Click the name

        •  Drag the name from "Club Users" window, and Drop into "Waiting Players" window.

        •  Right Click the name, and choose "Sign In" menu item.

    Notes:

       •  A Club User needs to Sign In so that BC4E can include the user in match arrangement (as a Player).

       •  For a new Club User, Operatoer needs to that new Club User (see Add Club User). When updating the user's profile, the user will Sign In as well.

  2. Play as matches start.

    Notes:

       •  BC4E arranges matches for signed in players automatically. New matches have Light Green background. Started matches have White background.

       •  When the current session finishes, the bell will ring, which also starts the next session (after a short break).

       •  Players just need to view the new matche arrangment from the big screen during the short break, and play at the court assigned accordingly.

       •  Because the bell only rings at the session end, it is important to have Warm Up session before the first match.

  3. Stop playing.

    Notes:

       • When the bell rings, players on courts should stop playing, and check for new matches. New matches have Light Green background color.

       •  Started matches will have their Timer (Red) on. (Auto Mode - Timer is for time remains; Sync Mode / Async Mode - Timer is for time duration.)

  4. Take a break.

    Steps:

       •  Find your name among Players' Windows (either Waiting Players Window or Court Windows)

       •  Right click your name, and choose "Take a break" menu item in the popup Window.

    Notes:

       •  BC4E will exclude you from next match arrangement, and will include your in the following one automatically.

  5. Leave early (Sign Out).

    Steps:

       •  Find your name among Players' Windows (either Waiting Players Window or Court Windows)

      •  Leave or Sign Out by any of following three methods:

        •  Double Click the name

        •  Drag the name from Player's Window (either Waiting Players Window or Court Windows), and Drop into "Club Users" Window.

        •  Right Click the name, and choose "Leave" menu item.

    Notes:

      • If you leave the club before it finishes, please remember to Sign Out. Otherwise, BC4E will continue arrange matches for you, which could cause problem for other players.

  6. Pair players together.

    Steps:

       •  Select all of 2 ~ 4 players by pressing and holdin Ctrl key, and clicking each name in Courts or Waiting Players Windows.

       •  Right Click any name in the selection above, choose "Pair Together" menu item from the popup menu Window.

    Notes:

       •  BC4E will arrange match for the group of paired players to play together as much as possible by default.

       •  Only players that have the same match count can be paired together because to rule number one: Fair Play of equal match count.

       •  You can further specify what percentage of matches together for the group of paired players by:

         •  In the Waiting Players Window, click the Group Number for any player in the group, and select the percentage of together matches.

  7. Unpair players.

    Steps:

       •  Find any player name in the paired group.

       •  Right click the name, and choose "Unpair" menu item from the popup menu Window.

  8. Reserve courts for other purpose.

    Steps:

       •  Right Click the court -> choose "Manage Court" -> choose "Reserve Court".

    Notes:

       •  If Clubs like to reserve some courts for other purposes so that BC4E don't arrange matches on them, Operators can reserve them as descirbed.

       •  Court Reservation is only effective temporarily for current club run.

       •  A reserved Court has backgroup with background word to show "Reserved".

  9. Release courts for club use.

    Steps:

       •  Right Click the reserved court -> choose "Manage Court" -> choose "Release Court".

    Notes:

       •  Release the reserved court and make it available for match arrangment.

    Right Click the court -> choose "Manage Court" -> choose "Release Court".

  10. Exclude players from match arrangement.

    Steps:

       •  Find the player name to exclude.

       •  Right click the name, and choose "Exclude" menu item from the popup menu Window.

    Notes:

       •  Excluded players won't be counted in BC4E match arrangment. They can be included later manually.

       •  "Take a break" is actually a special case of "Exclude". The player taking a break will be included automatically after the break.

  11. Include players for match arrangement.

    Steps:

       •  Find the player name to include.

       •  Right click the name, and choose "Include" menu item from the popup menu Window.

    Notes:

       •  After including the player, he or she will be counted in BC4E match arrangment just like a normal player.

  12. Adjust matches.

    Steps:

       •  Find one of the two players you like to swap.

       •  Drag and Drop it on top of the other player name to swap with.

    Notes:

       • Depending on the Option related to match adjusting settings, matches may be adjustable within certain of period.

       •  The "Chg" Indidator in Main Window is of GREEN tick if current matches are adjustable.

       •  Normally, should only swap players who are having matches. Swapping players between a waiting player and a player on court overrides the Fair Play rule.

  13. Manually arrange some matches.

    Steps:

       •  Choose menu item "Run" -> "Clear All Courts" from the main operation Window when "Clr" Indicator is GREEN tick.

       •  Drag a player name from Waiting Players Window, and Drop it on top of the court you want to arrange match for.

       •  Repeat the Step above till four players are added in the court.

    Notes:

       • It is important to Clear All Courts, not to Delete those matches, which completely remove them from match history.

       •  "Clear All Courts" makes all courts available for arranging new matches while original matches are kept in match history.

  14. Pause club for some special event.

    Steps:

       •  In Auto Mode, choose menu item "Run" -> "Switch Off Auto Pick". BC4E won't arrange any new match automatically.

    Or:

       •  In Sync / Async Modeb, choose menu item "Run" -> "Stop All Matches" or do nothing because match arrangement is kicked off by human operation.

    Notes:

       •  When a Club has some event in the middle, like AGM or Year End Celerbration, the club run can be Paused, and resumed after the event.

       •  Or in some case when players started signing in after club start time, club should be paused till all players have signed in. Otherwise, BC4E will arrange a match for every four players just signed in.

  15. Resume club.

    Steps:

       •  In Auto Mode, choose menu item "Run" -> "Switch On Auto Pick". BC4E will start to arrange matches automatically.

    Or:

       •  In Sync / Async Modeb, no specific operation are needed. Operator can just start to arrange new matches as usual.

  16. Check match history of players.

    Steps:

       •  Choose "Report" -> "Player Match Report" menu item from the main Window.

    Notes:

       •  Numbers in the Match History Report are match session sequence number.

       •  Values in the cell of "Player Name" and "Match Session Number" cross point are the Court Number player played at.

       •  If the cell value of Court Number has colorful background, that means they were paired for the match. The same color means the same group.
