User Guide

Notes:

• Restart BC4E if an unrecoverable error occurs.
• Keep a backup of the installation folder (default: C:\BC4E).
• Configure Club Run Mode properly:
- Auto Mode (default) – Automated match scheduling. Next Match time period is shown.
- Sync Mode – Manual start with synchronized courts. A "Start Match" button is shown.
- Async Mode – Independent timers per court. Each court has its own pace.

Club Run

Double Click (names) for most common actions like "Sign In / Out".

Troubleshoot

Problem	Root Cause	Action
Start setup.exe, but nothing happens.	You may not extract the .zip files to normal files, or extract them in OneDrive, or network drive.	Extract all files to a local folder, then run setup.exe from there. Note: setup.exe only works that way.
Setup.exe cannot run properly, and it may or may not display errors.	Missing common Microsoft component for x86.	From Download TAB -> System Requirements. "Install component via provided link."
Unable to run a simulation.	Later schedule for the day required. Club Run mode must be in Auto Mode.	Ensure Club Run mode is set correctly, and have an schedule for the day.
The application cannot start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.	The file "C:\BC4E\BC4E.exe.config" is corrupted. You can verify this by opening it in Notepad.	Replace the corrupted file with the original one extracted from the download package.
The application starts, but its appearance is small and unusual.	BC4E encountered a data loading error and failed to resize its window.	Restore from the latest backup and verify the rollback.
The application window is abnormal. It features a square with a red cross.	BC4E encountered an error for court names. Court names must follow 'Court XX' format.	Rename courts to match 'Court XX' format. Fixed in version 3.7.9.
Cannot export Club Users or Add a new club user. It could have some error prompt or nothing shown.	Some invalid data causes validation failure. The data validation is triggered in such cases.	Delete some invalid user names like empty full name or other abnormal ones from User Profile window.
BC4E can start normally, club date time is fine. But no court is shown.	Ensure BC4E is using Court View, not Player View. Player View won't show any court, but any match made.	Change all screen views to Court View by choosing menu "View -> Court View" for the screen.
